Does the tire store sell tires, or their experience in presenting customers the best options based on their individual tire needs such as comfort, mileage or handling?
Does the dermatologist sell cosmetic procedures, or the most beautiful you?
Does the jeweler sell jewelry, or the special feeling one gets from a certain ‘bling’?
The only way to add value is to do the difficult work in creating it. This may be plain to see, but if you offer value through your expertise and scarce because it’s not easy, you’re more likely to be in demand and compensated fairly for what you do.
